Cubadak Island (West Sumatra, Indonesia)

Cubadak island is located in Padang, West Sumatra (Indonesia). Padang, the capital of West Sumatra, has an international airport that offers daily flights from Jakarta, Medan or Kuala Lumpur. From Singapore ferries rally the Indonesian island of Batam every hour and there are daily flights from there to Padang.From Europe it is very easy to fly direct to any of these capital cities : major companies are Malaysian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, KLM, Air France or Lufthansa, but there are many other options as via Dubai with Emirates Airlines…The transfer from the airport to downtown Padang takes about 30 minutes.

Cubadak Island was in Mandeh territory, with area covered about 705 hectare, and known as Pulau Pinchnugan Talu/ Pincuran Orang Talu/ The Talu’s Douche. It is located in Koto XI Tarusan sub district, which is a west side of Kampong Mandeh (Mandeh Village).

It had a beautiful and exotic nature and sea view. Sloping beach with soft white sands and beautiful shells to be found, also a clear blue water, it is good for a beach picnic and snorkeling trip. It is a nice tourism destination to visit on summer holiday.
Cubadak Island had a few bays and capes, and the tourist named this island as “the paradise of the south”. This island have a resort and cottage, made from a traditional material (rattan, woods and with thatch roof), with professional services. It is arrange by the international investor from Italy. The tourism facilities are available and completed with hangar, yachts, cottages, restaurant, sanitation, telecommunication facility, radio and park. Cubadak Island is not too far from Carocok canal, it is about 1.5 KM.
